Unveiling the Soul's Journey: A Dance Inspired by "River of Souls"

The haunting melody of "River of Souls" by Waterbone washes over me, weaving a tapestry of emotions that begs to be translated into movement. My mind travels beyond the notes, envisioning a dance that transcends mere entertainment and becomes a vessel for a cause close to my heart: the preservation of the Kayapo Tribe and their ancestral lands. 

 In this vision, the dance embodies a flowing, circular motion, echoing the imagery of a river – a lifeblood that sustains and connects. I picture myself wielding a hoop, its graceful loops mimicking the cyclical nature of life and the interconnectedness of all things. As I move, the focus shifts beyond the technical mastery of the dance to a deeper exploration of the song's essence. 

 The song evokes a sense of purity and love, a connection between souls traversing a timeless river. I aspire to capture this essence through the language of movement. Each step, each turn of the hoop, becomes a brushstroke on the canvas of my imagination, painting a picture of unity and shared humanity. The backdrop for this dance is far from ordinary.
